In the culinary world there remains fewer and fewer chefs of old, meaning 1980s on, who were pinnacles of change and poise. Joël Rubechon was one such chef.

Chef died August 6 of cancer.
I never met him but worked with chefs who knew and worked for him. I can say that if even 10% of what they remembered came through, I am better for it.
Cancer has impacted us all directly or indirectly. Cancer Sucks.
To help those who have or are surviving it, as well as the caregivers who are also so deeply impacted, I am donating 25% of the profits from the sale of my mug to cancer research.
In my family the tally is at 6 or so. Cuck Fancer.
